Enjoy a nutrient rich berry smoothie full of antioxidants, fiber, calcium, and potassium – great for stronger, healthier muscles and bones

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup blueberries, frozen or fresh
  • 1/2 cup raspberries, frozen or fresh
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup milk or non-dairy alternative (almond, coconut, soy milk)
  • 2 tablespoons steel-cut/old fashioned oats
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or sugar substitute, or more, to taste

Method

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Add one cup of ice and blend on high until smooth. Add more milk or milk substitute if it’s too thick. Serve immediately.

Note: feel free to experiment with different fruits like strawberries and blackberries.
